Turquoise Country Products

The Colorback Mine has several different minerals associated with it . Turquoise, Chalcosiderite, and Variscite are the main minerals found at the Colorback Mine. Below is the chemical differences between all three minerals. You may notice that the main difference between Chalcosiderite and Turquoise is the Fe (iron) in Chalcosiderite and the Al (aluminum) in Turquoise.

Variscite: AlPO4-2H2O, Hydrated Aluminum Phosphate
Turquoise: CuAl6(PO4)4(OH)8*5(H2O), Hydrated Copper Aluminum Phosphate
Chalcosiderite: CuFe6(PO4)4(OH)8 - 4H2O, Hydrated Copper Iron Phosphate Hydroxide.
